Do
I have to schedule a studio appointment?
It is preferred that portrait sessions be scheduled in advance
to allow for the appropriate time necessary to complete
a posing session specific to your interests and/or needs.
Please
call us at 715.389.1751 to make your next appointment. Or,
if a spontaneous urge strikes, and you suddenly have the
need to have a professional portrait taken of yourself or
your family, feel free to stop by our studio. We will attempt

you and our staff.
What
is traditional posing versus photojournalism?
This question is most commonly asked by couples exploring
photography options for their upcoming wedding. And, the
question of traditional versus journalistic styles of photography
is really an issue of personal taste and preference.
Traditional
posing is exactly what the phrase “posing” implies.
In this style of photography the photographer generally
poses the majority, if not the entire, collection of portraits
taken at a specified event (ie: wedding). Conversely, a
journalistic approach to photography encompasses a more
candid and “in-the-moment” photographic style.
A true photojournalist would pose nothing, but rather photograph
a chain of events simply as they occurred with minimal,
or no, interaction with the subject(s).
Many
couples exploring options for photographic coverage of their
wedding often settle on a mix of both styles, mixing both
the traditional posed and the journalistic approach for
truly unique coverage of their special day.
Can
I select which backgrounds I want for my portraits?
Yes. You may choose from a variety of background selections
in our studio which may be used for your portrait session.
Or, if you wish, our staff can suggest backgrounds which
may be most beneficial and/or complimentary to your specific
portrait needs. And, of course we enjoy sessions in which
we create a variety of poses on different backgrounds within
a portrait collection.
May
I have portraits taken in my home or at an alternative location?
Yes. If you wish to have portraits taken at your home or
an alternative location other than the Wibben Photography
studio our staff will assist you in scheduling and planning
your portrait session. Our staff may also have alternative
suggestions for on-location work which may also peek your
interests. Please be advised that on-location sessions may
only be offered on specific days and additional fees may
apply. Please call for further information.
When
will my portraits be ready?
Some portraits, such as single studio shots or memory sheets,
may be available within 1-2 weels. Standard studio or on-location
portraits, however, are generally available within 3-4 weeks
from the date of your session. Wedding portraits, albums
and custom framing may also require additional preparation
time.
Is
the studio available for my specific event date?
Please call our studio at 715.389.1751 to inquire about
availability for a specific date for weddings, on-location
family or senior portraits. You may also e-mail inquiries
to dwibben@wibbenphotography.com
and your request will be answered as soon as conveniently
possible.
Does
the studio provide special offers or
promotional packages?
Yes. Our studio regularly offers promotional specials for
portrait packages. Promotional packages are generally priced
from $19.95 to $69.95 and change regularly. In addition,
discount offers are occasionally available.
Watch our web-site for seasonal specials and discount offers.
May
I bring my own props for a studio session?
Yes. When preparing for your portrait session we encourage
guests to bring along specific items which may represent
their personality. When working with young children it may
also be important for the child to have a familiar toy,
or blanket, available during the session. If you have any
specific questions regarding the use of an item you may
wish to be photographed with, please ask our friendly staff
when making your appointment.
Does

or lighter and the pet must be housebroken and well behaved.
